Our story is nothing short of special, and Taylor can't deny that when her friend's told her "Hinge is for husbands", they weren't wrong. She went into their blind date with the idea that either this date would be three strikes and she's out, or third times the charm. Well Ben was instantly her lucky charm. We had our first date at Fermental, a local bottle shop in Wilmington's Cargo District, and had an immediate connection. It might have been the surprise poke in the side that really told him this one could be different. After only an hour or so of getting to know one another, our second date was planned. It didn't take but a couple weeks and we were inseparable. To the point, Taylor told Ben she was going to marry him before he even asked her to be his girlfriend (yes, yes she did). And believe it or not, that didn't scare Ben away, he was fully onboard. We were dating quickly after New Years, and fell in love faster than we ever expected. We knew we found a love that was something to hold on to -- the deepest, most deserving, genuine, healthy love. The forever kind of love.
